Former Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar on Monday shared a video on his official YouTube channel describing how he had a conversation with Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami after India's exit from the ICC World Cup 2019.

Akhtar revealed that Shami had called him after he was upset at not being able to participate in India's final game.

Akhtar revealed that he told Shami that he was in his best physical condition, and also that he should have faith in Indian skipper Virat Kohli.
