Anwar, the Chris Gayle of local cricket, smashed 103 off 45 balls with five fours and 10 sixes while Abdul Rehman Qadir weighed in with 68 off 33 balls with four fours and six sixes as Ibsons CC, batting first, rattled up a massive 232 for eight in the allotted 20 overs.

A little cameo from Ayub Inayat (36 off 18 balls) further added to the woes of a struggling ECB Blues attack. Aditya Mavuru took three wickets for 30 runs while Ahmed Raza grabbed two for 53, but Ibsons batsmen held sway with ease.

ECB Blues, in reply, were restricted to 189 for seven, a good score under the circumstances, but not good enough to threaten the Ibsons bowlers.

Zamin Jalil (65 off 47 balls), Amjad Ali (50 off 27 balls) and Ahmed Raza (48 off 28 balls) batted well for ECB Blues.

Umair Ahmed and Shaimon Anwar picked up two wickets each to help Ibsons seal a comfortable win in the end.
