Spearheaded by N. Frank, who claimed three wickets for just nine, the visitors did extremely well to restrict UAE to a modest 112 for nine in the allotted 20 overs.

Uganda had their chances to overhaul the UAE score, but they stumbled on the finishing line, losing the match by just two runs despite a brilliant knock of 31 off 42 balls by M. Benjamin.

For UAE, Ahmed Raza, Mois Shahid and Qasim Zubair took three wickets each to prevent Uganda from registering their first win on this tour.

Earlier, Arfan Haider (20 off 26 balls) and Naemuddin Aslam (16 off 17 balls) offered some worthwhile resistance to a charged-up Ugandan attack.

Besides Frank, S. Ronald also made his presence felt, picking up two wickets for 18 runs.
