South Africa beat West Indies by 20 runs in their Twenty20 World Cup Group E Super Eights match at the Oval, London, on Saturday.

South Africa 183-7 (Herschelle Gibbs 55, Jacques Kallis 45, Graeme Smith 31; Jerome Taylor 3-30) def. West Indies 163-9 (Lendl Simmons 77; Wayne Parnell 4-13, Dale Steyn 2-30, Roelof van der Merwe 2-30).

West Indies won the toss on Saturday and sent South Africa in to bat in a Super 8 match at the Twenty20 World Cup.

The winner of the match at The Oval is virtually assured of a place in the semifinals.

Both sides are unchanged.

South Africa: Graeme Smith (captain), Jacques Kallis, Herschelle Gibbs, A.B. de Villiers, J.P. Duminy, Albie Morkel, Mark Boucher, Roelof van der Merwe, Dale Steyn, Wayne Parnell, Johan Botha.
