Our Own, Dubai Modern to fight for cricket title
Our Own High School, Al Warqa, will meet Dubai Modern High School in the final of Under-14 Shreyas Memorial Dubai Modern High School Cricket Tournament 2010 on Saturday at 8.30am at DMHS cricket ground, according to a press release.
In the semi-finals, Our Own High School beat Indian High School by two wickets while Dubai Modern trounced St Mary’s School by 226 runs.
Brief scores: Indian High School 109 for 7 in 20 overs (Srijith 22) vs Our Own High School 110 for 8 in 19.2 overs (Ali 37; Kunal 4-10).
Dubai Modern High School 258 for 7 in 20 overs (Shorye Chopra 138; Madhav Juneja 49; Kushal 3-33) vs St Mary’s 32 all out in 9.2 overs (Prithivi Sulaya 3-7).
