That’s not fair. It is always the officials who mess things up. Bangladesh cricketers touched the stars and now, they are detracting from the huge affection tsunami they got from the world of cricket for their gutsy performance in the Asia Cup by becoming crybabies.

It’s over. You played well and you did your country proud. But Pakistan won. You cannot get up four days later and start whining about being blocked on the last ball and seeking a 5 run penalty. If you had to moan you should have done it right then not now. The Bangladesh cricket board is doing a supreme disservice to its players, to the country and the game of cricket by getting on this hobbyhorse.

No way the decision is going to be overturned and ruining what was an awesome performance in maturity by the players who dropped India and Sri Lanka and almost did it twice to Pakistan for their finest performance ever are now in danger of losing all that goodwill. I bet the players who gave it everything they had don’t want this nonsense because that is all it is, utter nonsense and even Bangladesh fans at home and abroad must be saying, oh, please, don’t do this, we are so proud of our boys, don’t drag them into the mud. Stop right here.
