In another match, Ibsons CC were equally convincing in their nine-wicket victory of Nucaf Tellicherry.
It was Khurram who lit up the Sharjah stadium with an attractive stroke-play all round the wicket. The former captain of the UAE team rattled up a huge score of 158 off 89 balls with 21 fours and four sixes to knock the stuffing off the Sharjah Club attack.
Thanks to his brilliant efforts, Fly Emirates, batting first,scored a mammoth 360 for nine in the allotted 20 overs. Arshad Ali (74 off 87 balls with four fours), Imran (27) and Nigel Fernandez (21) also joined the fun with some entertaining batting.
Sharjah Club, once a force to be reckoned with on the domestic circuit, needed to score almost 18 runs an over in reply to make a match of it, but they simply cracked under the mounting pressure. They were eventually bowled out for 115 in the 30th over with Amjad Javed taking four wickets for 20 runs while Khurram and Lalith Dassanayake claimed two each to seal a comprehensive victory.
Salman Farooq, who had earlier taken four wickets for 55 runs, offered some resistance to the Fly Emirates attack by scoring 26 runs, but all others failed to make any impression with the bat.
In the other match, Ibsons CC also dominated the proceedings against Nucaf Tellicherry. They first shot out their opponents for 183 in the 33rd over and then achieved the victory target in the 24th over. Fayyaz Ahmed remained not out on 83 which included 10 fours and two sixes.
Earlier, Khurram and Irfan had taken three wickets each to prevent Nucaf Tellicherry from posting a challenging score despite a good knock of 44 by Ibthisam.
