Pune - Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Rajasthan Royals by 71 runs  in the Indian Premier League (IPL) Eliminator at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium here on Wednesday.

Chasing a target of 181, RR batsmen failed to reach the target, getting all out in the 19th over, managing only 109 on the board. Ajinkya Rahane was the top scorer for the team with 42 runs.

Earlier, RCB skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and decided to bat against Rajasthan Royals (RR)

Challengers put 180 on the board for the loss of four wickets. AB de Villiers (66) and Mandeep Singh (54) were the top scorers for the RCB.

RCB had replaced Ashok Dinda with Sreenath Aravind, while Rajasthan Royals have put in Ankit Sharma in place of Brainder Sran.
