The aggressive left-hander suffered the injury during a fielding session in Johannesburg on Wednesday, three days before his team’s opening match against Pakistan.

‘Yuvraj Singh has fractured a finger in his right hand and has been ruled out for six weeks,’ the BCCI said in a statement.

The selectors named Virat Kohli as his replacement.
