Batting first, Interface openers put on 27 runs for the first wicket with Nalin Khaitan making a brisk 20 runs in just 14 balls with a six and two fours. No sooner was he out off Mohammed Asif, the rest of the batting collapsed in the face of some hostile bowling from Asif and Ali Muddasar who has been having a great Ramadan tournament at all venues. After picking up Nalin, Asif also bagged the other opener Pranav Arora who has been in good nick for Interface while Ali Muddasar ran riot with the ball picking up all the next four batsmen to follow to send Interface Transworld reeling at 47 for six wickets. A defiant fightback by Jagrit Anand saw Interface cross the 100-run mark. Zeeshan Ahmed then polished off the tail to restrict interface to 105 runs. Jagrit top scored for his team with a good knock of 44 runs in 35 balls in which he hit five fours and a six while Ali Muddasar was the pick of the Eurocon attack with 4 wickets for 21 runs.

Eurocon’s reply stuttered as Wasim Bari and Shahrukh Khan gave Interface a glimmer of hope. Bari picked Sri Lanka international Mahela Udawatte while Shahrukh had Dilhara and both were caught by wicket-keeper Fawad Ghafoor while Azeem Ghumman was run-out to see Eurocon at 22 runs for three wickets.
