Holding an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series, England captain Alastair Cook has made three changes, bringing in Jade Dernbach, Samit Patel and debutant Jonny Bairstow for James Anderson, Stuart Broad and Ben Stokes.

The beleaguered Indians, seeking a first victory in any format this summer, replaced Praveen Kumar with Vinay Kumar on Friday in their only change to the team that tied the fourth ODI at Lord’s on Sunday.

It was the fifth straight toss England has won in the series.
