England elect to bat against South Africa

CENTURION, South Africa - England captain Andrew Strauss elected to bat after winning the toss against South Africa in the Champions Trophy here on Sunday.

South Africa have one victory after two matches in the four-team Group B, while England have won their opening game. Sri Lanka and New Zealand are other teams in the group, with the top two advancing to the semi-finals.
