Batting 1st Knight Riders got of to a slow start with 4 runs from the 1st 4 overs, the 2nd pair scored 14 runs to take the score to 18, than the scenario changed with the 3rd pair scoring (-11) runs and the last pair scored (-6) to end the innings with 1 run on the scoreboard.
Danube started with 14 runs on the scoreboard in the 1st 4 overs but went down by (-4) in the next 4 overs to bring the score to 10 at the end of 8 overs, but the 3rd pair played sensibly to score 13 runs in their 4 overs taking the score to 23 in 12 overs and the last pair score 9 to take the score to 32. Arif from Danube was adjudged the man of the match for the finals.
In the Pre Division Plate Event, DBMSC A (86) beat Dulsco Dynamites (5). Dulsco Dynamites batting first started with (-13) in the 1st 4 overs, the 2nd pair scored 11 runs in the next 4 overs to inch closer to the positive side of the score, but things went awry with the 3rd pair scoring (-17) runs again taking the score to (-19) at the end of 12 overs. The last pair played some excellent cricket to score 24 runs in 4 overs against the best bowling attack of the opponents. For DBMSC – A team the score of 5 was a cakewalk and they went on to score 86 in their 16 overs against a dejected Dulsco team. Samman from DBMSC – A team was declared man of the match for the finals.
The B Division finale saw DBMSC B (88) beating Spartanz (59).
Spartanz batted 1st and got off to a good start with the 2nd pair playing really well to get the total up to 47 in the 1st 8 overs, but than lost their way and could score only 12 runs in the next 8 overs. For DBMSC – B team this was an easy task surpassing the total in the 12th over. They went on to score 88 in their allotted 16 overs. Tanveer – from DBMSC – B team was declared man of the match of the finals. Creative Minds (78) beat Ministry of Cricket (77) in C Division play. In the last finals of the tournament Creative minds scrapped through to win by a margin of just 1 run. Ministry of cricket batted 1st scoring 77 runs in their allotted 16 overs.
Starting slow with just 4 runs on the board in the 1st 4 overs but than consolidated their innings in the next 3 partnerships. In reply Creative Minds got off to a very good start scoring 57 in 8 overs and faltered in the next 4 overs scoring only 6 runs. Needing 15 runs in the last 4 overs the last pair scored the same on the second last ball.
