Carfare reached the victory target with five balls to spare after Dulsco, electing to bat, had set them a target of 162.
The 20-over tournament, organised by Dulsco SC in association with Dubai Municipality, is being played under the auspices of the Dubai Cricket Council.
Babar scored an unbeaten 54 from 31 deliveries after Carfare lost three quick wickets despite getting a good start. He hit five towering sixes to dismiss any hopes Dulsco had of a victory.
After openers Ashish and Pramod had put on 57 runs for the first wicket, the latter fell to the bowling of Gurvinder for 12. Shafakat then bowled Ashish, depriving him of a half-century by one run.
Carefare then lost three quick wickets for the addition of two runs giving the Dulsco camp the scent of victory. However, Babar had other ideas and put the rival bowling to the sword and stole quick singles and punished the loose balls.
Despite losing two of his partners in Arnivan (11) and Hitesh (0) in a span of two runs, Babar and Rohit (10 not out) saw their team through with five balls to spare.
Khalim, Javed and Rohit claimed two wickets each while Umer and Pramod picked up one apiece.
Babar was later named the man of the match for his fine half century which helped Carfare collect full points in a Group D match.
The other teams in this group are Abu Dhabi Cargo Company and Drydocks World Dubai.
