Bangladesh beat England by five runs in a stunning upset to win the second one-day international at Nevil Road here on Saturday and so level the three-match series at 1-1.

Victory ended a run of 24 successive defeats in all international formats for Bangladesh stretching back to November last year and represented their first ever win against England in 21 matches after they’d previously lost in eight Tests and 20 one-dayers.

This series concludes at Edgbaston on Monday.
