One-down batsman Asif Ijaz scored 50 from 29 balls with the help of four boundaries and four sixes. The other opener Nasir Siddiqui made 28 from 22 balls with three boundaries.
Amjad Ali was also involved in two fruitful partnerships. He put on 80 for the opening wicket with Nasir Siddiqui and then stitched together 117 runs with Asif Ijaz for the second wicket.
In reply, Tyger CC could only muster 152 for the loss of nine wickets in their 20 overs. Opener Mahmood Hassan made 29 from 23 balls with four boundaries. Mohd. Badshah scored 27 from 21 balls with four boundaries.
In the other game, Muroor Stars, batting first, made 151 for the loss of eight wickets in their 20 overs. Nazar Hussain scored 33 from 18 balls with the help of seven boundaries, while Tariq Hussain made 28 from 29 balls with three boundaries. Wajid Hussain scored 26 from 24 balls with four boundaries.
Mohammed Rizwan took two for 16, while Bala Murugan took two for 22.
In reply, Ishtiaq Asif’s 46 went in vain as Krithi Interiors were restricted to 146 for the loss of seven wickets in their 20 overs. Asif’s 46 came from 32 balls, with the help of five boundaries and two sixes. Muzammil Mohd. made 28 from 36 balls, with two boundaries.
Wajid Hussain took two for 14, while Sarmad Ali picked up two for 27.

Muroor Stars: 151 for 8 in 20 overs (Nazar Hussain 33, Tariq Hussain 28, Wajid Hussain 26, Mohd. Rizwan 2-16, Bala Murugan 2-22) beat Krithi Interiors: 146 for 7 in 20 overs (Ishtiaq Asif 46, Muzammil Mohd. 28, Wajid Hussain 2-14, Sarmad Ali 2-27) by five runs.
