Al Manal Centre score easy win

DUBAI — Al Manal Centre registered a five-wicket win over Jotun Paints in the Dubai Aluminium Company Ltd (Dubal)’s 6th Ramadan tournament, a press release said.

Batting first, Jotun Paints scored 112 for all out in 16 overs with Anthony scoring 50 runs in 37 balls.

The most successful bowler was Al Manal’s skipper Umer Anwar Centre bagging five wickets in four overs giving away just 16 runs. He was well supported by Mumtaz who took three for 16 in three overs.

Al Manal made 113/5 in 15 overs with Ihsan scoring 36 runs in 20 balls and was well supported by Baber who scored 25 runs. Naranjan of Jotun Paints was the top wicket taker with two wickets in four overs. Man of the match was awarded to Umer Anwer.

In the second late night match, Salala CC defeated Al Manzil by four wickets.

Batting first, Al Manzil scored 99 for 9 in 20 overs. Alavi scored 17 runs in 23 balls. Masood Ali took four wickets for Salala, while Amir picked three.

In reply, Salala achieved the target in 17.1 overs losing six wickets.
