Abu Dhabi Airport Technicians enter quarter-finals
ABU DHABI – Abu Dhabi Airport Technicians pulled off a stunning win with a delivery to spare over UAE Exchange Centre to move into the last eight in the UAE Exchange Centre division-two cricket tournament over the weekend.
Ahmed Nadeem hit a superb half century but it was a cameo knock from Waseem Shoukat lower down the order that eventually took them to victory. Shoukat stroked 22 not out with a couple of fours and a six.
ADAT were joined by Nissan Al Masaood and Pakhtoon after their victories over Electro Cooling Centre and Abu Dhabi Gentlemen respectively.
In a couple of group phase games, Adma-Opco overcame Etihad Airways to advance to the knockout stage along with NPCC, who qualified despite the defeat to Pal.
