The one-sided match of the 36th Ten Sports Bukhatir League A Division Tournament, organised by the Sharjah Cricket Council, was played at the Sharjah stadium.

Abdul Rehman smashed a solid 109 while Saqib Shah weighed in with a blistering 98 as ECB Blues, batting first, piled up a massive 349 for nine to put Rufi Real Estate on the back foot from the very outset. Rehman cracked four fours and two sixes in his 103-ball knock, but it was Saqib who demoralised the Rufi Real Estate attack with scintillating stroke-play.

Saqib hit nine fours and five sixes in his 65-ball innings. Fahad Al Hashimi also joined the run feast, scoring 28 off just 12 balls with three sixes. Rohan Mustafa snared three wickets, but conceded as many 71 runs for his haul. Iram and Tariq also picked up two wickets each, but ECB Blues batsmen continued to call the shots almost at will.

Rufi Real Estate, in reply, could manage only 164 all out in the 34th over. Rohan Mustafa (34 off 23 balls), Tariq Shah (32 off 40 balls), Tahir (32) and Farhan (38 not out) made good starts to their innings, but failed to convert them into big innings they needed to match the big ECB Blues scores.

With the asking rate spiraling after every over, the ECB Blues bowlers kept up the pressure on the Rufi Real Estate batsmen with some disciplined bowling.

Tahir claimed two wickets for 37 runs while Abdullah, Fahad Al Hashimi and Ahmed Raza took one each to seal a comfortable win for ECB Blues.
