As the Covid-19 virus continues to spread across the world, the UAE intensified screening passengers at all entry points including maritime ports. This is being done as precautionary measure to protect community and residents of the new coronavirus. (Coronavirus outbreak: All the latest updates)
The Dubai Media Office tweeted: 'Part of the procedures and mechanisms being carried out at #Dubai maritime ports to protect the community from the new coronavirus, Covid-19'. They also shared a video in the tweet revealing all the procedures and precautions the government is taking.

The video says that all the medical checks include thermal screening to identify any symptoms among passengers using hi-tech and qualified medical teams.
