Dubai Economy on Thursday announced it had issued fines to 23 businesses and ordered the closure of one, for failure to adhere to Covid-19 precautionary measures.
As part of its daily inspection report, the authority also stated that it had issued warnings to two other businesses in the emirate.
The emirate has been cracking down on violators of health and safety measures put in place to limit the spread of Covid-19.

Citizens and residents who wish to report violations can do so through the Dubai Consumer app.
