The UK government on Sunday ruled out plans to introduce "vaccine passports" to allow people, who have been vaccinated against the novel coronavirus to travel abroad.

However, Vaccine Minister Nadhim Zahawi has said that people could get evidence from their doctors that they've taken the jab, if they need it for travelling.

Meanwhile, authorities in Dubai have confirmed the city is working to arrange more supplies of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine against Covid-19.

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) had recently rescheduled appointments for residents to take the first dose of the Pfizer jab amid a global supply crunch.
