The country's Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) said the total doses administered now stands at 4.31 million. This takes the rate of doses per 100 people to 43.62.
Meanwhile, MoHAP has announced dedicating vaccination centres only to elderly people and those with chronic diseases in the light of the spike in infections over the past weeks.
The ministry added that over the 4-6 weeks, other segments of society may get vaccinated after prior appointment.
