Thousands of personnel deployed to clear accumulated water, clogged drains, and fallen trees
The Sharjah Police have launched a new campaign to raise awareness about Covid-19 among the residents through their patrols.
A video tweeted by the police shows awareness messages being broadcast via radio waves and patrol speakers. Residents are urged to follow the safety guidelines and precautionary measures announced by the authorities.
"You are an important part of the community, please follow preventive measures for your safety and those around you,” the police patrols announce.
The police also use drones to enforce Covid safety measures. Awareness messages are broadcast over loudspeakers mounted on drones and police patrols.
Air patrols have also been deployed to monitor compliance with precautionary measures.
