Eating out, poor hand hygiene and erratic weather may be among causes, say medics
As the UAE scales up its vaccination drive, firms and organisations heed the call — proving that they are one with nation. In this column, Khaleej Times features a company that has gone all out in supporting the drive to end Covid-19.
A country-wide Covid-19 vaccination programme has been launched by Landmark Group for its employees and their families, as well as the group’s partners, tenants and vendors.
A special two-day drive has been conducted at their headquarters, located at the Landmark Group Tower in Dubai Marina, to inoculate office, store and warehouse employees and their families, along with partners and tenants. The initiative is part of the group’s sustained commitment to safeguarding the health and well-being of its workforce and customers in the UAE, with frontline and operational workers given the top priority.
In addition, the company is also facilitating employee appointments at health centres across the country in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, that are administering vaccines, approved by health authorities.
Landmark Group has implemented multiple layers of safety measures to ensure the health and well-being of its workforce, customers, and the wider community. The rollout of the vaccination programme reinforces its commitment to the happiness and well-being of its internal and external stakeholders.
