During Monday's virtual Press briefing, Dr Farida Al Hosani, spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), answered some questions posed by the media.

Responding to a question about the virus being contained within two weeks, the official said: "All the information shared on social media about containing Covid-19 in two weeks is fake. No one can say when the virus can be contained."

Here are the other questions she answered.

Q. Who should wear masks?
Wear masks only if you are coughing, sneezing or have flu symptoms. Never share your masks with anyone.

Q. Should I wear gloves when stepping out?
Wearing gloves is not advised as they can spread diseases. Wash your hands with water and soap instead.

Q. Can I use incense to protect myself against the virus?
It's not scientifically proven that incense is effective against the virus.

Q. What should a Covid-19 patient do after recovery?
As per the latest studies, none of the recovered cases have contracted Covid-19 again. However, all recovered patients are urged to remain in home quarantine for 14 more days.
