The UAE has administered 117,712 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine in the past 24 hours.

The country's Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) said the total doses administered now stands at 7.2 million. This takes the rate of doses per 100 people to 73.8.


The authorities have also resumed administering Covid-19 vaccine to all eligible Emiratis and UAE residents for free.

Those aged 16 and above can get a jab from 205 centres spread across the country. However, a prior appointment is mandatory.


The public has been urged to book appointments through the Ministry of Health and Prevention’s (MoHAP) Covid-19 UAE application (app), which can be downloaded from Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

The residents of Abu Dhabi too can book appointment at more than 100 locations across the emirate for the vaccination.
