Work teams across all customs centres continued to process cargo clearance and inspections
Teacher Maha Saeed Al Beyouk was about to get the jab but then, as she waits for her turn, she thought of putting her minutes of free time to good use. After spotting a quiet room at the council of teachers in Ajman — where the vaccination drive was held — she opened her laptop and continued her work.
Al Beyouk’s dedication didn’t go unnoticed. Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education, praised her hard work in a tweet on Friday, saying such a scene showed values of giving and honesty.
“Maha Saeed Al Beyouk, an honorable teacher that decided to continue its work and work with her students online, even when she was waiting for her turn to receive the vaccine,” the minister said.
“We are proud of having people like her, because with her, we know that our students are in good hands,” Al Hammadi tweeted.
