The Dubai Municipality has ordered the closure of six shops for violating Covid safety measures.
Five shops at the fruits and vegetables market and a massage centre in International City were the businesses that were shut.
Additionally, the municipality detected 22 violations of the precautionary measures to keep residents safe from Covid-19. It also issued 51 warnings.
This came as authorities in Dubai ramped up their Covid safety inspections. Ealier today, the Dubai Economy said it had fined seven outlets for breaking Covid safety rules.
