The UAE has vaccinated 118,928 residents against Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
The country's Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) said the total doses administered now stands at 1.39 million. This takes the rate of doses per 100 people to 14.1.
The UAE's vaccine administration rates are just second behind Israel globally.
This initiative is in line with UAE's plan to vaccinate more than 50 per cent of the country's population.
