The UAE has vaccinated 95,783 residents against Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
The country's Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) said the total doses administered now stands at 2.16 million. This takes the rate of doses per 100 people to 21.85.
The UAE now ranks first in the world in the distribution of daily doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. In the past seven days, the UAE’s daily dose rate is 1.16 per 100 people. Overall, the UAE’s dose administration rate is 20.8 per 100 people — second globally after Israel.

On Wednesday, the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi (DoH) announced that it will launch drive-through services for people looking to take the jab soon.
