Family-oriented island destination Bluewaters has changed its opening hours from Thursday onwards in a bid contain the spread of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).
Home to 'Ain Dubai', the world's largest observation wheel, Bluewaters issued a statement on social media platforms on Thursday evening that starting March 19, its temporary opening hours will be 12pm to 8pm from Sunday to Wednesday; and 12pm to 10pm from Thursday to Saturday.
The notice, however, stated that the reduced working hours do not apply to Franprix Supermarket that will operate at normal hours.
The notice added: "Please note some restaurants and shops have extended hours. Please call directly to know their timings."

The announcement comes a day after Majid Al Futtaim shopping malls as well as the Dubai Outlet Mall also reduced their timings as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
