The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Saturday reported 944 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 1,265 recoveries.
Two deaths were also reported in the country as a result of the illness and there are 22,507 active cases in the UAE right now.
As many as 152,146 new Covid-19 tests were carried out, the ministry added, taking the total to over 20.3 million.

Meanwhile, the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) received an international recognition for being “proactive” in its Covid-19 response action plan.
The authority was honoured by the International Hospital Federation (IHF) under the ‘Beyond the Call of Duty for Covid-19 Programme’ for its “swift and innovative” action plan during the pandemic.
