Starting Monday, February 1, people looking to drive to Abu Dhabi will need to show Covid-19 negative test results via the contact tracing Al Hosn app and not the SMS notification.

The revised guideline is one among other restrictions that Abu Dhabi has tightened for those looking to enter the Capital.

Meanwhile, an Abu Dhabi association has been honoured for its Covid-19 humanitarian efforts.

The India Social and Cultural Centre (ISC) Abu Dhabi was awarded the Mahatma Award 2020 at an in-person event held in New Delhi to mark the 73rd death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. It is the first community association outside India to bag the award.
