Etihad Airways announced the resumption of scheduled operations
The UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has posted a travel advisory for citizens who want to enter or leave the country amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Taking to Twitter, the ministry said depending on the destination, a citizen may need to take a Covid-19 test before travelling.
If an Emirati gets infected while in a foreign country, he or she has been advised to contact the nearest emergency centre and the UAE's diplomatic mission.
The ministry called on citizens to practise the same Covid safety measures that are implemented in the UAE. These include face mask use, social distancing and practising good hand hygiene.
Destination countries would have their own set of safety measures that citizens must research and adhere to, the ministry added.
