Coronavirus: Denmark ends ban on UAE flights

Dubai - Flights to resume from February 7; new travel rules specified.

The Kingdom of Denmark has suspended its temporary ban on incoming flights from the UAE.

The flights would be resumed from tomorrow, Sunday, February 7, the UAE Embassy in Denmark said.

All passengers must present a negative Covid test result no older than 24 hours before boarding a flight to Denmark.

On arrival, they will undergo another test. They will need to isolate for 10 days.

The new rules are effective till February 28.

After the ban was announced last month, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation had stressed that all accredited testing centres are regularly subject to strict quality checks.

A top official had said that severe penalties are imposed for non-compliance with international standards to ensure the highest level of quality in testing.
