The Bahrain health ministry has reported 524 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 379 recoveries.

Of the new cases, 151 were among expatriate workers, 138 were contacts of active cases.

One new death was also reported, taking total number of deaths to 137.

As many as 9,463 Covid-19 tests were carried out on July 25, the ministry said, taking the total number of recoveries to 35,205.

There are currently 51 Covid-19 cases in a critical condition, and 74 cases receiving treatment. 3,354 cases are stable out of a total of 3,405 active cases.
