Ajman's Department of Economic Development has issued a special protocol for the reopening of recreational activities, training centres, and educational and consultancy services offices.
The protocol outlines all the criteria that must be adhered to by establishments conducting the above activities in order to ensure the health and safety of the community and curb the spread of Covid-19.
Abdullah Ahmad Alhamrani, the Assistant Director General for Economic Registration and Control Affairs, underlined the need for establishments to adhere to the directives, as part of steps being undertaken by the Government of Ajman to return to normal life.
These include mandatory coronavirus testing for all workers in the establishment to ensure they are free of Covid-19, wearing face masks at all times, and maintaining a safe distance inside the establishment, both for workers and visitors.
Temperature screening of all workers or visitors entering the establishment as well as frequent sanitisation of the premises and all high-touch surfaces are also compulsory.
A copy of the protocol is available in Arabic and English on www.ajmanded.ae or by contacting the government call centre on 80070.
