Dubai Police has fined a tour operator Dh50,000 for organising an outdoor gathering without adhering to precautionary measures.

In a video posted on social media, several four-wheel drives can be seen gathered in a desert in Dubai in violation of recent Covid-19 regulations issued by the emirate.
Gatherings are permitted to entertain a maximum of only 10 people as per the latest guidelines issued in the emirate in its bid to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
The fine, issued in cooperation with Dubai Tourism, is the latest in a crackdown by Dubai authorities on violators of Covid-19 protocols.
Over the course of the last week alone, Dubai Police announced several similar fines had been issued to the organisers of a yacht party, desert party, and a gathering at a local establishment.
