UAE: Playing cricket, football by flouting Covid rules banned

Police have warned of fines for violations.
Playing randomly without abiding by Covid safety measures is banned in Ras Al Khaimah, the emergency, crisis and disaster management team has announced.
Playing football or cricket in housing compounds and between buildings by flouting the Covid safety rules is banned.
The RAK Police have warned of fines for violators.
Authorities in Sharjah had recently fined 13 people for violating Covid-19 safety measures while playing cricket.
The violators were found to be playing cricket in unlicensed sandy squares in Sharjah and flouted precautionary measures related to Covid-19.
