UAE fights Covid: Dubai orders 5 food outlets to shut

It also issued 18 warnings, according to the authority's latest daily inspection report.

Dubai Municipality on Friday announced the closure of 5 food establishments for failure to comply with Covid-19 precautionary measures.

Four of these were located at Al Daghaya, while one was located in Al Marar.

In its latest daily report, the authority noted that a total of 2,326 inspections had been completed.

It also recorded four violations and issued 18 warnings.

Authorities in Dubai have been intensifying Covid inspection campaigns in light of the recent surge in cases across the country.
