Though some employers were considerate enough to allow employees to work from home, some have asked staff to report to work now
As many as 2,000 Global Village team members have received the Covid-19 vaccine in support of the UAE's free national vaccination programme to beat the pandemic.
The popular family destination recently organised a dedicated vaccination camp at their management offices for all its staff and their families.
It was met with an "overwhelmingly positive response", which saw 2,000 management staff and front line teams and contractors, including security guards and cleaning staff, receive the vaccine as part of the initiative.
"Although not mandatory, the vaccination program has been met with exceptional demand by employees, with the vast majority registering their interest immediately," said a statement by the family park on Sunday.
The multicultural destination will welcome guests daily until April 18 this year — and remains committed to providing a safe experience for both guests and staff.
