Ras Al Khaimah has announced the closure of all wedding and event halls from next month to curb the spread of Covid-19.

In a statement issued Wednesday evening, Ras Al Khaimah Economic Department said that: RAKDED closed all the wedding and events halls in RAK starting from today (February 10) till 5 March according to the current coronavirus situation.
Earlier today, RAK had announced fresh stricter rules, including limiting the number of individuals allowed at family and social gatherings (such as weddings) to a maximum of 10 people, while funerals are allowed to have a maximum of 20 attendees.
All members of the public must maintain a physical distance of 2 metres in public.
