Authorities in Umm Al Quwain have shut down a supermarket for flouting Covid safety rules.

The UAQ Department of Economic Development said precautionary measures like social distancing were not implemented at the supermarket.

The authority urged residents to report Covid safety violations to 0529924582.


Regulators across the country have stepped up Covid inspections after rules were tightened.
