Sharjah announced an extension in suspension of social gatherings and events till the end of July.
In line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, the Sharjah Executive Council, issued a decision to extend the suspension of all social events, celebrations held in wedding halls, event halls, hotels, and government and community facilities until the end of July.
The decision was taken as a precautionary measure to prevent coronavirus spread.
The decision comes in line with the UAE's unremitting efforts to support the precautionary measures to contain the spread of Covid-19, aiming to ensure the health and safety of all citizens and residents.
The decision comes into effect from July 1, 2020 until the end of July - extendable if needed.
