A three-member gang of Asians has been arrested for selling fake medical products by the Dubai Police
All the items, including 400,000 face masks, 25,000 gloves and 1,000 glasses, were seized. Boxes of counterfeit stickers were also confiscated.
The gang used to sell the products on WhatsApp.
Brigadier Jamal Salem Al Jalaf, director of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Dubai Police, said that the gang used to hide their fake products in three villas in different locations across the emirate of Dubai. He added the police seized some machines that were used to hide the production details.

On being tipped off about the gang, a CID team started collecting information and evidence about their activities.
After taking legal approval, the police raided the villas, arrested the culprits and seized the products.
