Mohamed bin Zayed, Wang Yi discuss UAE-China ties in Covid-19 fight

They highlighted the importance of accelerating international cooperation and fostering global synergy to stem the fallout from the disease.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Saturday met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, who is on a two-day visit to the UAE.

Sheikh Mohamed and Yi discussed bilateral ties and reviewed the global fight against Covid-19 pandemic, including the ongoing UAE-China collaboration on vaccination and treatment. They highlighted the importance of accelerating international cooperation and fostering global synergy to stem the fallout from the disease.

They also exchanged views on a number of international issues of interest and reaffirmed the importance of solidifying the efforts to establish peace and achieve development and prosperity for the region.
