An Emirati man, who lost both his parents to coronavirus, is appealing to residents to heed the directives laid out by the authorities to protect themselves and their loved ones from this deadly virus.
"My father was feeling tired this morning, and by afternoon he was no more," said Saud bin Ahmed, in a video message he posted on social media.
He urged everyone to follow health guidelines and stay at home, unless it is absolutely necessary to go outside.
He added that the authorities are going to keep a regular check on his health status because he had interacted with his parents before their death. According to him, that the UAE government is doing everything possible to safeguard and protect residents in the country from getting infected with the virus.
In the video clip, a teary-eyed Saud can be seen urging people to protect their families from the virus, adding that the older people are more vulnerable to Covid-19, especially the ones who are suffering from chronic diseases, like his mother.
