An Emirati advocate, Salem Ahmad Al Keet, has offered to defend and speak for frontline healthcare workers at Ras Al Khaimah Courts for free.
Earlier, Al Keet had come up with another initiative in support of them.
“I offered legal consultations for free to this key segment of the society.”
Both offers include all frontline healthcare workers, be they Emirati nationals or residents, he added.
“These are not limited to doctors and specialists but cover all healthcare workers who stand firm and courageously defend us against the Covid-19 pandemic.”
"This is the least I could have done to acknowledge their relentless efforts," Al Keet underlined.
“They have dedicated themselves towards a noble mission despite the huge challenges and difficulties it poses.”
Such community initiatives are extremely important, he pointed out. “This is also in line with the vision and directives of the UAE's prudent leadership to battle the global pandemic.”
