Inspection officials of the Dubai Economy on Monday closed down a coffee shop in Al Seef and fined 9 other businesses for not adhering to mandatory precautionary measures to keep a check on increasing Covid-19 cases.
In a tweet, Dubai Economy announced that a coffee shop has been closed down in cooperation with the Department of Tourism and Commerce for flouting safety measures.
While 668 businesses were found compliant with precautionary measures, 6 were let off with warning following the inspections.

Stressing that any non-compliance will be dealt with firmly and in accordance with the laid-down procedures, Dubai Economy urged people in an earlier tweet to report Covid-19 rules violation by either clicking picture of the respective facility and uploading it on the Dubai Consumer app available on the Apple, Google, and Huawei stores, calling 600545555, or by visiting the www.Consumerrights.ae website.
